The 27th annual Friends’ Art Exhibition showcases paintings, prints, textile art and sculptures from South London’s artistic community. All works by both new and established artists in the local area in the Horniman Conservatory are for sale and proceeds support the museum’s projects.

OPEN GARDEN SQUARES WEEKEND

More than 200 gardens across London – most of which are usually closed to the public – will unlock their gates for a whole weekend for this annual event. Spanning 27 boroughs, the gardens take in all sorts of spaces, from traditional squares to roof terraces and allotments, as well as gardens belonging to historic buildings, schools, shops and cafés.
FRIDA KAHLO:MAKING HER SELF UP

An exhibition dedicated to the incredible collection of personal artefacts and clothing belonging to iconic Mexican, Frida Kahlo. They have been locked away for 50 years, following the artist’s death, and never seen outside of her native country. Expect some exceptional dresses and envy-inducing possessions.
RODIN AND THE ART OF ANCIENT GREECE

A hundred years after his death, see works by the greatest sculptor of his era in a new light, alongside the ancient works, including the Parthenon sculptures, that inspired him.
