Paperwork overload!

A survey suggests that the average mortgage application involves applicants reading 219 pages of paperwork and that four out of ten say that this is too stressful. The study by Trussle, an online mortgage broker, also suggested that lenders’ jargon added to their frustration with the process and most would prefer it if applications could be made online. Some borrowers said that they were put off remortgaging because the process was so bureaucratic.
