Cashback Help

Share this:

Cashback mortgages are back, for what seems like the first time in more than a decade. Halifax will pay £1,000 upon completion to first-time buyers taking out a mortgage and is the biggest lender so far to step back into this part of the mortgage. Such deals were always popular at the bottom end of the of the housing ladder for people to pay legal costs and removal expenses for buyers who had struggled enough to find a deposit. Although there are cheaper deals on the market, the Halifax move shows just how competitive the mortgage market is today and that lenders are prepared to go to great lengths to win new business.
