Tim Banks, Octagon CEO, is ready for a busy spring.
As we swiftly roll into the second month of 2019, the Octagon team have already begun preparing for the busy spring sales period ahead. With two multi-unit schemes in London, a brand new superhome in leafy Sunningdale and the continued growth of our Bespoke division, we are delighted to have welcomed seven new staff members over the past two months, including our first Commercial Director.
The Bespoke team, headed by John Pope, is currently working on almost 30 projects across London and the Home Counties, with this figure set to grow even further in the coming months.
From country piles and inner City renovations, to some of our most extravagant mansions to date, every project is managed in house from start to finish, including sourcing the perfect plot and submitting planning permissions.
In London, we have one apartment already sold at Eagle House, our award-winning, Grade II* listed development in the heart of Wimbledon Village. Making quite the impression on entrance to the historical building, our team has been busy over the past few weeks decorating the two main communal hallways, with bespoke furnishings, artwork and tapestries, further highlighting the soaring stained glass and leaded light window as well as the ancient oak fireplace.
With each of the seven apartments completely unique, we have also dressed a second show home on the first floor of Eagle House, which launched mid-January. We look forward to welcoming new potential purchasers to explore the one of a kind building with either ourselves or Knight Frank’s Wimbledon office. Prices from £2.25m.
Pre-Christmas saw the official launch of Titlarks House in Sunningdale, our first joint venture with Kebbell Homes. With an astounding 17,000 sq ft of living space spanning just two floors, our friends from the press joined the Octagon Directors for the busy breakfast event in December, alongside interior designer Kim Harvey who was there to highlight key finishes and features of this £15m mansion. Complete with a full leisure suite and indoor swimming pool, viewings of Titlarks House are now available by appointment only.
Finally, we are delighted to announce the sale of a Bespoke opportunity in Headley, with the 31.5 acre plot on the Surrey/Hampshire borders which exchanged contracts at the end of 2018. Having already secured planning permission for a house of up to 20,000 sq ft, the new buyers have a wealth of opportunities available, including an option to develop two houses on this stunning rural estate.
