Sophie Deedes, Associate Director, John D Wood & Co, shares where to eat in Battersea.
The Farmer’s Mistress
Battersea Park Road
What’s it like?
No nonsense interior that feels ever so slightly industrial with exposed brickwork and metallic tables. The focus point is its smoothie and coffee bar displaying a vast array of cakes and treats.
And the food?
Proof that healthy can be absolutely delicious, describing themselves as “Naturally Naughty”. Brunch is definitely their strong suit where you can enjoy anything from truffled mushrooms and asparagus to sweet waffles with hazelnut butter. The “Farmers fritters” with poached egg is a favourite and feels too decadent to be good for you!
